Sisters
May 21, 2010
Sweet Cassidy and Peyton were back for one more session before they moved off of the island for good. These lovely girls have such different personalities, it will be so fun for their family to get to watch them grow up together! Here are some favorites from a park in Naha…
Bravo to mom Leslie on the outfit choices!!!

Baby Sophie
March 9, 2010
So many babies have been born lately! There must have been something in the water about 10 months ago. Here are a few of sweet cuddly 2 week old Sophie. She should come with a warning–”may induce baby fever in certain people (photographers)…”
I’ll post from some more babies in the next week or two!!

Faith in Alaska
January 19, 2010
I recently went on a trip to Anchorage, Alaska and was lucky enough to get to photograph one of my old friends who now lives in Wasilla. Heather and her daughter Faith bundled up and we headed out in the snow for some beautiful portraits in the winter wonderland around her house. These colors make my eyes happy:)

Heather’s sister, Jeneen stopped by for a few shots with her lovely daughter as well!

Here’s a few more of Heather and her sweet one year old girl:)

And finally, just beautiful Heather and the snow!

Sweet, Sleepy Newborn…
September 10, 2009
I just love newborn babies! So soft and cuddly and peaceful:) Anisten was two weeks old when we did her session, but she was still in that wonderful sleepy curled up stage. She let us dress her up and move her around with scarcely a fuss. What a sweetie!

Love those toes!!! We tried a bunch of hats on her and she slept through all of it…:)

But, sometimes the best photos are just the baby, no accesories, simply au naturale…

That being said, she did seem pretty happy wrapped up in a soft newborn-sized cocoon.

She was even smiling in her sleep…flashing that dimple!

Finally, she woke up, and it was time for some photos with those blue eyes open!!!

And finally, some with mommy!!!!

Twins!
August 22, 2009
I met up with Richard and Suzie as they were packing up and getting ready to head to the states to retire. They wanted some photos of their adorable 4 month old fraternal twins Kylan and Siriana (LOVE those names!) before they left Okinawa. First we took a walk outside their beachside apartment for some family photos.

The twins were very sweet and their different personalities were already apparent. As the heat hit, we headed upstairs for some shots of just the babies, sneaking them in just before naptime:)

Daughters:)
July 9, 2009
Joanne and her girls met me at Marek Park bright and early last week, and we just barely managed to beat the heat! This was a special session, because Joanne’s husband has been deployed and has not yet met his youngest daughter, who is now 4 months old. Joanne wanted some portraits of the girls to send to him across the world. Hopefully, he’ll feel some of the warmth of the sunshine that these girls emanated when he picks up their photos all the way “over there”.

As you can see, the oldest daughter is so lovely, and not a bit camera shy:) The littlest girl is also adorable, full of spunk and the alertness of a 4-month old just discovering the world…

Here’s some more from the session…

So great to meet you three!

Who’s Ready for Father’s Day?
June 11, 2009
This weekend I was at the park with Trish and her two little ones. She wanted to get some shots of her and the kids together and some individual portraits to give to her husband as a Father’s Day gift!!! Such a great idea. The secret came out early however, so I’ll go ahead and post some of them:)

Hannah, the 5-year old, was so independant and engaging…and SO lovely:) She got through the outfit changes and the terribly humid sweaty morning weather like a pro.

Alexander was such a good-natured little man, flashing those adorable two teeth and doing 10-month old level science experiments in the sand.

Here are some more shots…I was really impressed by the cooperativeness of the little ones:)

Before we left we had to do a few photos with the vending machines! They’ll always know where they were when these were taken!

I hope the four of you have an absolutely wonderful Father’s Day!!!! It was so nice working with you:)

What a great session. These little girls are so beautiful. Also pretty amazed at the clarity of your shots– even the ones that have movement, you were spot on!
