A Trip to the Castle
August 30, 2009
Brad and Sara and their wonderful outgoing son Conner and I went to the Zakimi Castle ruins for some family photos just before evening fell. I will definitely be back to this location…it was absolutely gorgeous! So serene and full of contrasts and such an amazing view. It was hard to narrow down their photos for a post…they are a very photogenic family!!!

And one of Conner in his kimono…

And finally a beautiful Okinawan sunset at the top of the castle walls…

Beach Belly:)
August 24, 2009
I met up with Amber, who was two weeks away from her due date (!) at Araha beach. She looked so great…I kept having to tell her to put her hands on her belly because you could not tell she was pregnant from the front view!! We started with some photos behind the park as we waited for the sun to get a bit lower…

Amber’s eyes are an amazing shade of green that just GLOW when the sun hits them. Next we hit the park for some fun and colorful shots…

Finally, it was getting close to sunset and we went down to the water. Some local girls came by while we were there and asked Amber to pose for them so they could take photos with their cameras!

On to a few of the beach photos. Anisten is the name they’ve chosen for their baby girl…:)

Another beautiful Okinawan sunset…I love this place!

Twins!
August 22, 2009
I met up with Richard and Suzie as they were packing up and getting ready to head to the states to retire. They wanted some photos of their adorable 4 month old fraternal twins Kylan and Siriana (LOVE those names!) before they left Okinawa. First we took a walk outside their beachside apartment for some family photos.

The twins were very sweet and their different personalities were already apparent. As the heat hit, we headed upstairs for some shots of just the babies, sneaking them in just before naptime:)
